A Hologram is a highly customized, difficult to copy authentication device. It is cheap and can be affixed to any product at any stage of the production or sales cycle.

Holograms can have very advanced security features that can be both hidden and visible. Visible features can be images of individuals, fingerprints or some other company specific item. Hidden features include hidden text that uses special masks or light conditions to become visible. Text may be incorporated that can only become visible under UV light or when a laser beam is pointed at the hologram.
